The texts serving as a basis for your learning present Russian as it is spoken today. The 100 lessons teach what you need to know for everyday communication: corresponding and speaking on the telephone, expressing yourself, asking questions, explaining etc. You will thus be able to get by with ease in a wide variety of situations in Russian life.
The recordings include all the texts in Russian for each lesson and the translation exercises from the book. These progressively more challenging texts have been recorded by professional native speakers.
